Rudy’s Little Hideaway is considered one of the best Mexican restaurants in Colorado Springs. Family owned since 1994, the menu is the inspiration of the owner, Rudy, from Zacatecas, and the cooking team, who brought their authentic Mexican family cuisine to Colorado. Our cuisine offers a mix of authentic Mexican and Tex Mex cuisine, a little taste of Zacatecas!
Both locals and visitors enjoy the wonderful food, atmosphere, and breathtaking views of the mountains from the outdoor patio deck.

Really tasty breakfast, the atmosphere is fun and rustic, the staff was friendly, and the fireplace was warm on a cold winter day. The portions were very nice for the price, you get a lot of bang for your buck. Highly recommend to anybody looking for some Tex mex breakfast.
Stopped for brunch. Food is good and reasonably priced, except my husband's Machaca Scramble had more beans than scramble. Chips and salsa were fresh. They were expecting a large party on the patio, so we could not sit outside this time.
Saw this place on an Saturday adventure and thought it would be a great place to stop and eat. Not sure what type of restaurant it was when stopping. We headed inside and there was no one around until I walked al the way into the dinning area and asked if I could be seated. I was surprised how slow it seemed but as we ate the restaurant picked up. Once we sat down the staff was very friendly and helpful. We started with a Cheese dip with green Chile which was pretty good. I then ordered the #7 plate and the wife ordered a shrimp plate. The enchiladas was very good. My chili reno was ok. The wife really enjoyed her plate. And of course we had to try a margarita. It was very good. . Would I think the patio would be a great place to dine in the summer but they did not have it open. If I was in the neighbor hood I would come back here again.
Went to Rudy’s for breakfast this morning and I was so happy to see fair prices on the menu ! The food was delivered to our table rather quickly ! I love that you could tell it was made with “real” and fresh ingredients. I ordered the chorizo machaca burrito, the green chili was so flavorful + hot. 🥵 (The other photos were my parents Rudy’s Project plate) Definitely worth the trip across town !
It's a decent restaurant with good food. We came for breakfast and the food was great but nothing special. Nothing made me say wow or to say I want to come back. The prices are very affordable though, that's why we decided to come here in the first place. Maybe we didn't get the right things because there were many people eating there that morning.
