Today was our 4th year in a row coming here. Service and food have been consistently amazing for the last 4 years. I'm looking forward to next year already! I'm so glad we found this little spot! Some of the best Mexican food we have had. Very reasonable as well. Recommended dishes: Refried Beans, Sizzling Mixed Fajita, 1 Egg 2 Strips of Bacon or 2 Sausage Links Hash Browns or Home Fries & Toast, Tacos, Enchiladas, Green Chili, Burrito. Kid-friendliness: The staff is very good with children 6 and under.

Went to Rudy’s for breakfast this morning and I was so happy to see fair prices on the menu ! The food was delivered to our table rather quickly ! I love that you could tell it was made with “real” and fresh ingredients. I ordered the chorizo machaca burrito, the green chili was so flavorful + hot. 🥵 (The other photos were my parents Rudy’s Project plate) Definitely worth the trip across town !

Rudy's Little Hideaway was a pleasant surprise. I went in not knowing what to expect. I didn't even know what type of food they served! The layout and environment is fun an interesting. Great for both intimate dates and large gatherings. Service and staff were very prompt, nice, and friendly. They have a great selection of authentic Mexican food and drinks. I had the Carne Asada Burrito with green chili and sour cream. It came with rice and beans. They give you complementary tortilla chips with a pretty spicy salsa. With a water, price came to around $16.00. Not bad. Restrooms were spacious, clean, functioning, and properly stocked. My wife was mad I went alone without her! 😅 I'll definitely bring her next time. Great place. I recommend a try!

Great staff, always working hard, you don't see anyone just standing around or with a frown. Food comes out fast and Great Tasting. Our server Lily was awesome, explained the menu with the many options available and kept our drinks full.

The food was nothing short of fantastic! I had the #1 lunch special, and a margarita; my friend had the #5 combo and 3 margaritas. We both opted for the chili verde. This is the first time I finished before my friend!! I enthusiastically recommend this place to anybody who really enjoys real Mexican food. The prices are very low, considering the food. My plate was under $8.00, before tax and tip. Outstanding. My Fort Worth hat is off, for this place!

If you are a flatlander, you need to get here for breakfast! Rudy's is an impossibility where I live in Tennessee. It's a Mexican restaurant that is open for breakfast and is out of this world good. The first thing to try is Huevos Rancheros and even though you may not have had it before, order it with the green chili... trust me. it's got enough kick to make sure you are awake but it's not so hot that you will regret the order. Rudy's is a special place that I visit at least once each time I'm out in the Springs. It is easy to pass up, hence the name, "Hideaway," but once you pull in there for the first time, you will be back!

Best Beef Burrito. My wife and I had lunch here today based on TripAdvisor ratings and reviews. We both ordered the smothered shredded beef burrito with green chili. The green chili was the perfect sauce for the burrito with the most tasty shredded beef I have ever tasted in a burrito. Rudy's has been added to my TripAdvisor favorites!

We always enjoy eating here on the balcony/patio area. The views are amazing and so is the food!

This restaurant is kinda hidden away (hence its name), but well worth the effort to find it. The menu is authentic yet creative and the food is bursting with flavor and simply delicious. The waitress was very friendly and helpful and I ordered the huevos rancheros based off my waitress’ suggestion. Excellent suggestion! It tasted as good as it looks in the photo. Even better.

Rudy's was my favorite place to eat while I was on vacation. Their staff is so friendly. It a hidden treasure.

The food was amazing. I got a breakfast burrito, hash browns and bacon. The portions are huge. The only reason I give 4 stars is because I had to wait a while before I was even able to order my to go food. I had to wait around for a waitress then after I ordered it took quite a while to get my food. I was there for almost 30 minutes. The entrance is hard to find as well if you've never been there. I'd you were facing the building with the street to your back the entrance is on the left side of the building. I will be trying this place again because the food was so good, I just hope the service is a bit faster this time.

We come here every Saturday morning for breakfast. My boyfriend has literally been coming here for more than 2 decades. Outstanding. Fantastic Mexican food, the breakfasts are amazing and if you want an American breakfast, that will also be amazing. A real little “Mexican joint“ with no pretensions whatsoever. Rough hewn, but beautiful art on the walls and interesting murals and a real Mexican flavor to the whole place. No complaints about any of it. Totally worth visiting. Oh and they make an amazing margarita that’s really cheap. Rudy, the owner, is very nice and very funny and usually comes around to say hello to people. All of the waitresses and waiters are very nice, very efficient, and very attentive.

If you are looking for a true, local and flavorful restaurant, Rudy's is a great place to eat. Their burritos alone are enough for 2 people and they have a mean green chili. Worth the money and time spent for an appetite.

This was a delicious and friendly Mexican restaurant. We ordered shrimp fajitas, a carnitas plate, and guacamole. The guacamole seemed to be freshly made. The takeout service was quick and efficient. We would definitely recommend this restaurant to our friends and will for sure go there if we are in CO Springs again. We had a large birthday party at Rudy's. The rooms we reserved were perfect including the patio area. The servers and other staff members were friendly and personable.

Rudy's never fails to impress us and were from Texas! Its the one place I'm sure to take all our friends and family from Texas when they come for a visit. Impressive breakfasts all the way around. I hear they have lunch too!

First time to Rudy's Little Hideaway. It did not disappoint! I had the shredded beef Chimi with green chili, hubby had the chili Rellenos. Both where fabulous! We can't wait to come back!!!

Great friendly restaurant with awesomable staff. Pros: Portions will make you feel full for the rest of the day. The chips and salsa came out. I could come here and only order the chips and be in content land. They weren't greasy like other reviewers have stated, but definitely did not taste store bought. The salsa, though more runny and soupy, did a great job in making sure that all ingredients didn't overwhelm the tastebuds. I had the Texas Scrambled with green chili on top. When it came out, it definitely didn't look right to the eye. A mushy mess. But holy crap was it delicious. The green chili isn't pork, but who cares. I loved their chili. Fresh green chilies with great seasoning. Highly recommend on ordering. The chili is mild but still enough seasoning to let you know that there is still a chili pepper. Service was excellent. My husband ordered the Denver Burrito and really loved his food. During the summer, we have to sit on the patio. Gorgeous views of the mountains.

I have visited this restaurant twice now. Every time I've been, I have really enjoyed my food. Their chips are made right there on the premise. They are thick, greasy and very crunchy. I like the way their salsa tastes and has the perfect amount of heat. Sit in the sunroom and you'll get beautiful views of the front range.

I have known them for almost 9 yrs AND I worked there. The food is AWESOME.

I can't explain how delicious the food is here. Their red chili sauce should be sold by the bottle - it is made fresh and there is slight variation each time but always has depth of flavor and isn't excessively hot. Their green chili deserves is tops, too (even better than King Chef's). Go on Sunday morning before noon and sample the free bread pudding, it immediately cures all Saturday night hangovers and prevents worries about the Monday to come.

Great Mexican food!! The salsa is wonderful and spicy too! The green and red sauce for their enchiladas is super tasty!! The view on the outside terrace is second to none! Great people and food at a great price! You should check it out!!

Came in today craving some great Mexican food, and it was delicious. Everything tasted fresh and had that home cooked meal taste. The waiter was polite, and did a good job. The portions for the cost are very generous, and the menu is simple. I wanted coffee though it was 7pm, and the waiter brought me fresh coffee, exactly what I needed after a long day. We will be back.

We have been coming here for years for breakfast (way back to the days when Rudy's was on Nevada) and always walk away satisfied. The servers are great with filling your water and coffee. Our main staples are Rudy's project and the breakfast burritos. We always ask for extra green chili but we like our dishes spicy. We have ordered almost every item on the breakfast menu and have never been disappointed. If you have never visited Rudy's for breakfast, go you will return over and over.

Warm chips were great with salsa and all our meals were priced right and served by a friendly waiter who was attentive but let us have our space. The owner was graciously thankful for our visit and we assured him we would return in the future.

Hidden Gem on 8th St. My husband and I went here for dinner tonight. We were greeted by a friendly gentleman and found a nice table of our choice. We barely sat down before our waitress was at our table and took our drink order. She was very friendly and quite accommodating. We had the El Rey margaritas and they were AWESOME! We ordered the chicken fajitas as our entrée and we weren't disappointed.

Post Hike Breakfast. After hiking the Cheyenne Mountain trails, I stumbled upon Rudys. The food is fantastic the service was great. Best of all they have a deck where you can just sit and bask in the glory of the mountain range. A wonderful place and worthy of many return visits.

Very good Chios and salsa to start. Waitress was very good bringing us water and not rushing us to order. We both ordered the carnitas burrito. Mine had red sauce with rice and beans and my daughter got it with green sausage and no beans. Food was huge proportions and we could have shared. Too bad I am only in town for the weekend highly recommend this place.

Food is excellent ....Mexican dishes ate the best....love the Mexican breakfast tacos, the rancho band eras and the Machca burrito....I have has the American dishes also...They offer margarita with breakfast or enjoy a mamosa....Staff are friendly and seem to stay busy serving customers....our waitress was full of smiles and brought our food quickly.....Give this small business a try.....beats any chain restaurant hands down.

(Which, by our New York standards has been difficult to find in the Springs), but the prices were insanely reasonable as well as excellent service! The waitstaff here are impeccable and willing to go the extra mile to make sure the customer is satisfied and you can tell it's not even a second thought, it's just how they run their establishment!
